Well friends, here we are in the final month of the year. It’s a bit hard to believe given how long the weeks and months of this year have felt! There is something a bit bittersweet I’m feeling about 2020 coming to an end. While it’s been what feels like a huge series of unfortunate events, there is something sad about the passing of time that I feel as I’m getting older. How are you feeling in this final month of 2020? Are you ok?

October has always been my favorite month of the year. The weather is often picture perfect, the colors are so beautiful, and apple cider is every where to be found. It’s the month we got married five years ago, and while it now also has some sadness associated with it after our second miscarriage at the very beginning of this month, there is just too much to love about October and the fall.

We’re midway through September, but it’s not too late to share this month’s goals! Especially because I’ve already been making some progress on some of them! :)

I also need to take a minute and share with you all how excited I am that fall is so. close. The temperatures have started to cool off and even though we’ll probably have another week or so of hot days before it’s really here, fall is on its way. I’ve already worn turtlenecks this week. Turtlenecks!

You know what has been annoying me a little bit recently? (I know… there are lots of things about 2020 that are annoying…) My 2020 monthly calendar is travel themed, and it’s getting a bit old each month to pull out another pretty image of somewhere I’d love to travel to in the middle of a pandemic where traveling isn’t possible! I guess I know what theme I’m not picking for my 2021 calendar…
