2016 goals: starting a new season

2016 goals: starting a new season

Happy September, friends! It's hard for me to believe that we have reached this point in the year already. I know that autumn doesn't technically start until the 22nd day of this month (or until December in Florida!), but when September 1st rolls around every year, my cozy sweater, gingerbread latte-loving side comes out and I find myself more than ready for cooler temperatures and colorful scenery!

Giving with Meaning: bridesmaid gifts

Giving with Meaning: bridesmaid gifts

As I thought about selecting bridesmaid gifts I sought to assemble items that could be used throughout the wedding weekend as well as after it ended. It's relatively small, taking up just a couple of blocks downtown, but we loved the overall vibe - very casual and friendly!

The challenge of comparisons

The challenge of comparisons

Since launching You Me Serendipity a few months ago I have been excited about holding myself accountable to this idea of subjective perfection. For the most part I think I've done relatively well! I've shared some of the highlights from our wedding and how they led to a celebration that was perfect for us, I've jumped into building and exploring self-confidence with the Becoming Confident Series, I've shared my goals for 2016 and how I have and have not achieved them so far, and I've shared with you a little bit about how we choose to approach dating as newlyweds
